Station 1 on Flagler St. Notice the eight men on Ladder Co.
This was taken by a friend of mine who was taking a Photography Class. They needed to shoot an old building, so I invited them to Old Sta. 9. We got some real good pictures

I am Wes Brown's sister. Willis S. Brown's daughter and
Guy Taylor Coggin's grandaughter. Just wanted to let you know that the Miami Fire Dept.'s retirement funds supported my Mom Lucile well after my Dad passed away. Any time she had a question she would call and they would help her with
courtesy. We have fond memories of visiting the Fire Dept. Station 1 to watch the Orange Bowl Parade down Flagler.
I remember the coral rock fish pond out front as well. Thanks for all you have meant to us through the years. I'm so happy Wes has been able to share the photos we saved from the past.
